When a couple is as full of joy and energy as Miles and Annie, you know their engagement photoshoot is going to be something special, and they did not disappoint! These two chose the perfect setting to reflect their adventurous spirit: Double 8 Alpaca Ranch, a charming alpaca and llama farm tucked into the rolling hills of Purcellville, Virginia.

From the moment we arrived, the location felt like something out of a whimsical daydream. Curious alpacas and proud llamas wandered through the background, and yes, at one point, we captured two llamas kissing! It doesn't get more romantic than that.

But the real stars of the day were Miles and Annie. Whether they were sharing a quiet moment in the field of buttercups or posing confidently alongside some of the ranch's larger residents, they brought their whole heart to every shot. Annie’s sweet smooches (seriously, adorable) could give anyone a toothache, and Miles’ genuine laughter made every candid a treasure.

Their chemistry, playfulness, and obvious love for each other made this session effortless and overflowing with warmth. It’s not every day you get to photograph a couple who looks this good while wrangling alpacas and striking power poses in the same breath. This session was pure magic, and I’m so excited to share a peek at this unforgettable morning.
